Elie Wakim

Elie is a physiotherapist with a Doctorate in Physical therapy (DPT) and an osteopath. He is a member of the “Ordre Professionnel de la Physiothérapie du Québec”, AQO, “Association Québecoise des ostéopathes” (covered by Claim Secure/ Air Canada) and the owner of Medi-Club Physio.

Throughout his studies, he worked with orthopaedic, neurologic, cardiorespiratory and geriatric patients.

In order to further his knowledge and skills, Elie practice osteopathy combing both approaches for the well-being of his patients. Elie treats special conditions like spine dysfunctions, TMJ, Vertigo and biomechanical assessment. He uses advanced manual therapy, McKenzie approach and muscle activation. He has a strong interest in manual therapy for back & neck rehabilitation and sports medicine.

He holds the certificate of spinal and joints manipulations and the certificate of Dry Needling delivered by the OPPQ.

He worked with basketball Olympic players during the London 2012 and Road to Rio 2016 preparations, Wimgym gymnasts, Pointe-Claire swimmers, joggers, tennis and soccer players. He also has experience working with children through the Montreal Children’s Hospital satellite clinic at Medi-Club.

Elie takes in charge his patients and offers them a personalized approach for prevention and treatment that meet their needs. His professionalism, sense of analysis and manual dexterity make him an excellent therapist.

Away from his practice, Elie enjoys playing piano, basketball and training at the gym.
