Courtney Coulter

Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Concordia University, from the Exercise Science program with a specialization in Athletic Therapy. She is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapy Association (CATA) and La corporation des Thérapeutes du sport du Québec (CTSQ). Courtney has worked with college level athletes of different sports, such as rugby, basketball, football and more. On the field, she is able to assess and treat acute injuries using emergency care techniques. She is CPR certified and is a Sports First Responder. In the clinic, she specializes in the assessment and rehabilitation of acute or chronic musculoskeletal injuries (injuries to the muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones and joints). She is also trained in postoperative rehabilitation. Courtney uses manual techniques, exercise prescription as well as taping techniques and other modalities to treat and prevent injuries to the body.

Courtney trained as a competitive gymnast for eight years and has always had a passion for sports. After she stopped her training in gymnastics, she realized her love for athletic therapy. Her goal is to help the active person to get back to sport/physical activity with no pain in order for them to achieve their own personal goals.

Courtney is also a registered massage therapist and member of l’Association des Massothérapeutes du Québec (AMQ). She specializes in Swedish, therapeutic and deep tissue massage. She is able to reduce muscle tension by treating the deepest layer of tissue, and offer a calming experience to help you relax and reduce stress.

During her free time, Courtney enjoys getting fresh air while doing outdoor activities, such as hiking, jogging, skiing, skating and camping
